Hotel was close to where we needed to go, Was a good price

Days Inn seems to be going downhill again.
Labor Day weekend and the ice machine was not working, and by the condition of the sign, hadnt worked for some time. They wanted to charge $10 for the use of the refrigerator and microwave that was already in the room. The breakfast isnt worth the effort.

Dirt in the drawers, and a merciless manager
The hotels location is convenient, but it is not well cleaned. 3 of the dresser drawers had dirt and gravel in them, and my first visit to the bathroom involved greeting a roach. My biggest complaint was the managers uncaring inflexibility. I had also booked a room (three days, prepaid through Expedia) for my brother. The day before the trip, he found a burst pipe and mold in his house and couldnt join me. I tried twice to get the manager to give at least a partial refund of my prepayment, but he refused. This is not a hotel that cares about its guests.
