Great Hotel...Friendly staff...Very Impressed!!!

I had a great time at this hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful. It was in a good location near shopping, food, movie theaters, and the interstate. Lobby was absolutely gorgeous and well maintained. My room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. I had several business meetings in my room and there was plenty of working space. I received numerous compliments about the hotel from my clients.There was only one problem with the room. The room still has an air conditioner instead of central heat and air so, cold air blew directly on the bed closest to it. It got very cold in the middle of the night!! Other than this, the hotel was great and I will be back soon. The free, hot, breakfast was a major plus. Buffet area was always clean and well stocked. I was very skeptical at first, but Best Western really impressed me and I wont stay anywhere else while I’m in Little Rock!

Traveler's tip for business travelers

If you are in town on business, I recommend this hotel. It is very close to Financial Centre Pkwy and about a 15 min.drive to downtown. I never had an issue with the WI-FI. Restaurant on site, but plenty of other restaurants nearby. I had my kids with me and there was a drop-off childcare center 1 block away from the hotel. It came in handy for business meetings and my kids had a great time.

BW Governor’s Suites

This was one of the best BW Hotels that I have seen. It’s a very quiet hotel located in the financial district and it suited my needs.

Great breakfast

The hotel was full due to an event, and the one room left that was held for us for our late arrival accidentally got skipped by housekeeping and wasn’t ready yet. The staff was on their toes and very accommodating. Housekeeping was dispatched quickly, and we were invited to chill out and watch TV in a comfortable conference room and provided bottled water while we waited. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. Our only complaint was the strong mildew smell in the bathroom. The hot breakfast the next morning was great, and the staff kept it well stocked in spite of the large crowd.

Well worth the money spent.

Our hotel was well worth the money spent. The staff were both courteous and attentive. My husband and I were traveling with our 4 and 6 year old, and they too complimented the room. The room was spacious for the size of the hotel. There was a hot breakfast, but it was the same breakfast each morning, which for a long stay could be a down side. There was no room service or in room movies, but the television was equipped to have a DVD player or game system hooked up to it. Overall the stay was great, and we have no complaints.

Breakfast Great

Everything was just great I didn’t care to much about the bed but my daughter and granddaughter said it was fine to them. The breakfast was great that was the reason I choose this hotel because of the full breakfast because thats what my granddaughter wanted and nobody was disapointed

Nice.

I stayed here about a year ago when they were doing their renovations. The service was good then, the rooms large, and I was happy enough to remember to stay here again. This year the rooms were re-done nicely. The quality of the service remained high. It’s a nice hotel. I’ll stay here again when I need to be in Little Rock.

My second home

When in Little Rock, I would not even think about staying anywhere else. Comfortable, New Orleans style decore. Tranquil neighborhood; great place to relax after work.

Loved the suite style rooms

The rooms were beautiful and the bed was awesome. I have never been on such a comfy hotel bed. My only complaint is the advertised smoking rooms but when we got there they had just switched their policy to all no smoking.

Staff was wonderful by Linda

The staff went out of their way to make our stay nice. I could not connect to the internet in our room, they called the tech who lives a couple of blocks away and he tried- also unable he offered me the use of his personal computer. The staff was very helpful when we ask about local attractions. One draw back of the room was with 2 double beds in the room one is up against the heater/air unit and if you roll over it blows in your face. Other than that there are no complaints the hotel was very easy to get to and had lots of restaurants, gas stations, shopping around.

The hotel was beautiful, the room was very nice, the bed was very comfortable. The bed was so comfortable we missed the breakfast both mornings, we slept late. The hotel is close to restaurants and shopping. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend it.

Good Place to Lay Your Head

We stopped by this hotel on the way to Nashville. The room was very comfortable and cozy. The only thing was we wanted the breakfast; so we woke up and were going to go downstairs around 10am, so we called downstairs and they said they stopped serving at 9:30am. The front desk never said breakfast ended that early; they never really said anything about breakfast at all. Anyway, it was good for just a place to lay your head.

Great Stay...Good Price

The hotel was further away from downtown and the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences Campus Hospitals than I originally thought, but the rooms were huge, the bed/sheets were very comfortable, and the staff was very nice. The breakfast in the morning was so so...but that is to be expected with free breakfasts.

Good value,but didn’t deliver wake up call

The hotel is all_suites and priced considerably lower than the nearby Embassy Suites, although Embassy Suites is considerably nicer and their breakfast is better. Excellent West LR location. My one major complaint is that they failed to make my requested wake up call on my final day. I complained and was told "sorry, but our computer does that sometimes".

Excellent hotel

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Governors Suites in Little Rock. The staff was very friendly and efficient, breakfast was great, and the hotel has just been renovated. It is beautiful and comfortable and was a wonderful place to stay.

Julie’s Restaurant is very good and has excellent prices. We also ate at Cajun’s but Julie’s was our pick.

Excellent property

This property was recently remodeled and re- furnished. It is clean and quiet. I was surprised the lounge is closed on Saturday (according to the guest guide) but the hot complimentary breakfast was very good and much better than those english muffin and cold cereal ones you find all over.

COMFORT, CLEANLINESS, & COMPLETE BREAKFAST

We choose this hotel because of the on line reviews. We were very pleased and will return on each of our necessary visits to Baptist hospital. Lots of great restaurants, and shopping nearby. Parking was well lit, we felt safe. We felt the ammenities were equal to competitors, but at a substantial savings.

We ate at Mimi’s Cafe, fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Large portions, real food - - nothing out of a can or box ! Casual dining at its best, about 2 or 3 miles from the hotel, in the heart of all the shopping areas.

Great New Orleans Style

Hotel was great... Has a full breakfast, but you must be there between 7:30 and 8:30AM to really appreciate it... They starts closing up breakfast in the 9-9:30 range. While we were there, the meeting rooms were being used by an outside group, and they were having breakfast also... creating a shortage of items when breakfast time was close to their meeting times. Rooms were nice, but not as large as other hotel suites I have been in before. The lobby is a large open space surrounded by New Orleans architecture and access to the upper rooms is through a glass elevator overlooking the whole area.

Pleased

The hotel was quite comfortable and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was quite good - with the BEST scrambled eggs (on a buffet) I’ve ever had! It is a bit tricky to find, but the sign on Shackleford helps!

Great Value

We had previously stayed at a more expensive property but were looking for a better value for multiple stays. The Best Western Govenors Suites was not only a better value but had better service, nicer rooms and a great breakfast. It was convenient to several restaurants and a much more pleasant experience in every way. We will be back.

Very nice

The motel was very nice, with great rooms and nice atmosphere in atrium area. The full breakfast bar was wonderful, with lots to choose from. The one negative thing was housekeeping did not come around until 4 p.m. as we were trying to get ready for the reception we were there to attend, and they walked in on my cousin staying in the next room as she was changing, after they knocked and her saying "just a minute." We were told by the front desk that housekeeping did not speak English. She was compensated with a certificate the next day to a resturant but we were unable to use it as we were leaving to come home.

Good Choice in Little Rock

Easy trip from the airport. Close to places to eat. Rooms are spacious and the open interior of the lobby gives you the feel of living in a nice apartment rather than a hotel room.
