Not Impressed
The room was not clean and even though it was a non-smoking room it smelled of strong cigar smoke ashes were also in the toilet.

dont want to go back
Hotel sucked, my room key didnt work asked to move rooms they showed me how pull kick and pull all at the same time to open room door. Also need to print documents off computer it also was broke, we wont even get into there breakfest it also sucked pretty bad.

Days Inn Athens AL
The hotel is not bad. it is in a good location. But the rooms are dirty. The bed linens are soiled with all kinds of spots; ALL the bed linens are soiled. The floor has new carpet but I don’t know the last time it was vacuumed. They were willing to really wash everything on the bed and they did. I think they are normally washing too many linens at on time. They have refrigerators in the room but you need to wash it out before using it. The bathroom is is slight disrepair. When you walk on the bathroom floor it does not fell sure.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Joe Wheeler State Park in Alabama is absolutely beautiful. The facilities are very nice. Picnic tables are spread out all over the park in places the allow you to comfortably enjoy all the different views of the lake, river. Simply beautiful. Nominal fee of $1 per person.
