Close to airport
Close to airport but kind of worn. Could do with a general carpet cleaning / refurbishment, but OK for a night. Continental breakfast and free WiFi included makes it worth it.

Disgusting
I am fairly tolerant, but it was so bad i had a plumbing crew tell me they didn’t want to stay there. That’s bad.

Mixed bag...
We got in late, late at night on an "event weekend" and got an absolutely HORRIBLE room, even though we had requested non-smoking. It was equal to a hot-sheet fleabag motel and I didn’t even want to touch the floors with sock feet. There were lights missing, and the sheets, while clean, were frayed and sorry. The second night, they moved us, and it was as if we had moved to a completely different hotel. The room was clean, non-smoking, attractively decorated, and things worked. All in all it was a really bizarre experience, and I’m not sure I’d ever want to chance getting that first room again by booking here.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
This hotel is close to everything in the western part of Asheville, near the airport, and has all the usual big box retail stuff nearby - target, etc. - but it’s out of the way of anythign in the actual downtown of Asheville.

Would definately go back
We stayed a total of 2 nights at this hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The kids thought the pool was great. Will definately stay here next time we go back.

Management needs to put money back into its property!
The only think it has going for it is that it’s next to the airport.

Bad Experience
This hotel was definitely the worse we have ever stayed in. I’m not sure why we stayed the first night but, we did. However, we did not stay the second night. The carpet was so dirty we couldn’t walk around only in our socks. There were spider webs. Thank goodness we didn’t see any live spiders. What really topped it off was the mold on the shower curtains. This was the worse travel experience we have ever had.

The worst motel/hotel we’ve ever stayed in!
In my opinion our room was nothing short of shabby. Examples: no plug in either bathtub or lavatory; dirt in corners; only one--1!! hand towel for 2 persons. I thought the breakfast offering was shameful; we thought the coffee was terrible. The bedspread seemed to us to be dirty; the bed felt saggy and uncomfortable. I am surprised that Expedia put us in this motel

Older, but okay for the money
Everything else in the area was booked, so we stayed here. It wasn’t the best I’ve been in by far. It is a little dated, but the rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They got us everything that we needed. For the price, it was fine.
Kids will love Sliding Rock....a natural water slide about 40 minutes away.

Not all the amenities that I thought I was getting
I thought that there would be a refrigerator and a small table in our room, but there wasn’t. The tv didn’t work properly either. The continental breakfast was good and served well. The maids were exceptionally nice and very helpful. The kids really enjoyed the pool which was clean and well maintained.

Don’t stay here
There was dirty towel left in the bathroom. The ceiling over the tub was falling in. There was a cigarette burn in the sheets. 2 of the 4 lightbulbs were burned out. Overall, the room needed to be refurbished.

Nice, probably will go back!
Friendly staff and great location. During the week you can’t beat the price! Get the chimichangas at the Mexican restaurant in the hotel.

Look elsewhere for a room to stay.
Old abused furniture. Smelled of smoke. Soda had been spilled by previous occupant on night stand and was not cleaned up. Sticky and soda lid was left behind night stand. Neighbors were loud well into the night.

Convenient Location.
The staff are great! The airline lost my luggage and they felt sorry for me and gave me a room upgrade. All the rooms have all the amenities needed for a short stay...microwave, iron, coffeemaker, hairdryer. The beds are a bit old and saggy, but overall an ok stay for an airport hotel.

The nearby NC Arboretum is gorgeous! A must visit.

Aged Motel with worn out mattresses
people were friendly & enjoyed the Breakfast, but they do not keep it stocked unless requested to do so. Otherwise OK accomodations.
