More than adequate
I was looking for an affordable stopover hotel in Tallahassee on the way to Orlando. I wanted it to be conveniently located, comfortable, have good internet access, breakfast in the morning, and otherwise provide a good sleep. This Country Inn and Suites did all that. It is a newer hotel, which is in it’s favor. I found the staff friendly and helpful as well.
Traveler's tip on dining
One negative for me is that there weren’t many choices for dinner within walking distance, and I really didn’t want to get back in the car. I noticed some guests ordered pizza or sandwiches as an alternative. I ate at the nearby Waffle House (next time I might order pizza . . .). If you are like me and want to eat nearby, try the other alternative.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, friendly
We were looking for a place to crash on our way to Miami and found this hotel. For starters, the desk clerk was actually hospitable instead of cranky like they usually are. I had looked at Expedia to check the price of the hotel earlier and assumed that it would be the same price online or at the desk - but when I requested a room the clerk stated a price higher than Expedia had. I said, "Uh, Expedia has it cheaper, can I make the reservation on my little iPhone here and get back to you?" I thought she might get a little irritated by that but she smiled and said that would be fine and that I could actually use the business center’s computer to make the reservation. Room was clean, bed was comfy, the area was quiet, the staff was friendly. We were happy!
