Great Hotel right in the middle of Budapests best city areas.
Me and my fiance would definitely stay here again. Hotel staff was very helpful in everything from arranging taxi service to ordering opera tickets. All hotel staff spoke good English and were very polite. Breakfast buffet was really excellent and had huge variety. Restaurant was pricey for night time but the quality of the food was very good.
If you have time I do recommend seeing an opera at the Budapest opera house. For the price you pay for the tickets you will see some real talent on stage and a fabulous production. Shows vary season to season. Oh and dont miss a stop by St. Istavans Basilica. Great artwork to see on the inside.

Heating problem in our rom
We had a heating problem in our room. The maintenance guy came to check the system. We could communicate with the help of the receptionist through the telephone and no explanation was given to us. The only solution they offered was a fan heater! This is not something you expect to see in a 5-star hotel like Kempinski. Disappointed!

Perfect location
If youre looking for elegance, comfort and a great location, this is your hotel. Its steps away from Deak Ter, a central metro stop where all 3 lines converge. The metro is easy to use, clean and convenient. The location of the hotel was perfect-easy walking to St. Istvan, Vaci Utca, Chain bridge, the Danube. The hotel itself is welcoming, with a comfy ,large foyer, and pleasant indoor cafe. Every afternoon, there was music (piano). The breakfast buffet was the best we ever had-there were probably 100 choices (eggs, breads, meats, fruit, cereals, yogurts, cheeses) as well as serve yourself champagne. We were mildly disappointed that the spa did not have a hot tub, but was beautiful and restful otherwise. We also had trouble regulating the temp in our room (too warm). Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay again-Budapest was wonderful city.
Dont miss the Folklore Shows-there are several that are held at the nearby Duna Polata. Impressive music, great dancing , elaborate costumes. A great evening!
