Just a place to lay your head

I was not impressed with this hotel at all. I thought that seeing how it was a name brand place we were safe- nope. It is way off of the high way exit, not near much. It is old, smells bad, not very clean, the towels were dirty and the bathroom stained. I informed the lady at the desk that there was a hornets’ nest attached to one of the windows near the doors. She told me "it did not matter because I was not supposed to use that door anyway". If you are just looking for a place to lay your head and not stay long, go here. If you have kids and may be in the room longer- move on. There is not much as far as restraurants either. The ones near the hotel are rude.

If you are staying in Hagerstown, stay in one of the hotels closer to the interstate. They looked better.

Not Good.

This hotel looks great from the outside but inside it is a mess! The rooms are in very bad shape and it just over all was not a nice place. The service was not bad but the rest of the place is a dump. Smells like a smokey bar when you walk in. We will not be back.

Stay the night, skip the coffee

This isn’t a thorough review as my wife and I were just passing through on our way to NJ for Thanksgiving. We arrived late and left early. The hotel met our expectations, which were a clean room and a comfortable bed. My only complaint is that the coffee served with the rather uninspiring continental breakfast was absolutely awful- weak and flavorless.
