Was nice and clean!
It was a fine place for my daughter and I to stay for three nights. The forty five minute drive back and forth to South Padre Island was not bad at all.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
We stayed at the La Quinta in Harlingen because we couldn’t find a place on the Island that we could afford on this trip. The price was very affordable in Harlingen.

Best hotel in Harlingen
We go down south every year. This is the best kept hotel. I do pest control & I was impress. very clean.Very nice bath toilettes & accessories.lov my room coffee and great breakfast too.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Go east to South Padre for good fishing. and south of the border for shopping & good drinks! Nuevo Progresso.
