Just for a short stay
I spent a week in Picadilly hotel and the personnel are always cheerful and ready to help but there are some problems that they couldnt solve during my 1 week stay. The most important problem for me was the internet connection which was almost none. I had a connectivity problem almost everyday and it couldnt be solved during my stay. Other than that, the hotel is a bit far from the city center and so to the attractions in center city but there is a nearby metro station (approximately 400 mt) so you can use it to go to Vatican City and Colosseum. I suggest it for just short stays. If you intend to stay for a long suration (1 week - 10 days) i suggest you to look for a hotel in center city.

Comfort in Rome
A short walk from San Giovanni Metro station. Not near the main sights in Rome, but the room was comfortable, with good air conditioning and nice bathroom with shower. Each day breakfast is free in a breakfast room on the eighth floor, complete with eggs, bacon, croissants, toast, cereal, and fruit. The free breakfast is a real money saver and a time saver. The food service staff are friendly and polite. All in all the comfort of the hotel makes up for the location being a little ways from the main sights.

Impressed
Little bit far from all the attractions and shopping area. We were told that it is 20 minutes walk from Colosseum -- which is not true. It takes at least 10 minutes by bus. However, Great value for the money.
