Great location
The hotel is perfectly situated to see the best of Manhattan. The price was very reasonable for the quality of accomodations. Most of the front desk staff leave a lot to be desired! Charles at the front desk was great, as was the doorman, but when we checked out, the person at the front desk did not even raise his head or thank us for staying with them. I expected more from a hotel of this caliber. We would go back to the Kimberley.

charming small hotel with large rooms
This was our first time but wont be the last at the Kimberly. Welcoming staff, helpful concierge. The room was great; big marshmallow beds umbrellas, robes, slippers, and microwave in the room Everything was perfect - except for street noise, but hey its NYC.

Good Deal for the Money
Stayed in one-bedroom "executive" suite for two nights, for family of four (2 adults, 2 children). Pros: - Central location for midtown. Subway station is 1.5 blocks away and walk to Times Square. - Parking garage across the street (discounted rate). - Staff very friendly and accommodating. - Ample room size for our family. Dishwasher and small kitchenette with settings for four. Separate living room for adults to use while the kids sleep. - Beds very comfortable ("Craftmatic adjustable" and quality linens). Overall very clean. Cons: - Some of the living room furnishings were a bit shabby/tired. Did not try the pull-out couch. - Around the corner from a fire station so some street noise, as expected (its New York). We were fine closing the windows and running the AC. Our stay was during the fall so not sure how it performs in hotter weather. - Room lighting was a bit dark, but pretty standard for any hotel. Did not have a chance to sample restaurant or other hotel services.
Dont use the minibar. Walk NE two blocks and there is a grocery store.
