Almost All I Could Want
I’m biased: I love Granada. My recent 5 day stay at the Tryp Albayzin only served to reinforce that bias. The building itself is attractive, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was generous, fresh, and tasty. Best of all, the staff was remarkably friendly and helpful, including giving directions when needed and helping us to arrange for an excellent tour of the olive oil country. The only drawback, if it is a drawback, is the location; Tryp Albayzin is a little further from the central "action" than I would have preferred. Even so, the area was nice and certainly felt safe. And, the walking distances were quite achievable. Short version: I do a lot of traveling, and I really like this hotel. It is definitely on my "recommended" list!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Of course you’ll want to see the Alhambra-- it really is incredible! But... don’t overlook the Olive Oil excursion. Really interesting, relaxed, and worth your time.

Comfortable and great location
The location is great. The room was large and comfortable, though I was not satisfied with the decor. The hotel’s restaurant was pretty and elegant, the service superior and the food good and unexpensive.
