wonderful Detroit -Yes really give it a chance!
The staff was superb the place was immaculate we really had a great experience there.We felt welcome and had a nice stay.

Awkward Layout
I only stayed for one night, and overall the hotel was more than sufficient for the needs of myself and my sister. The room we booked only had one king sized bed, and the layout of the room was a little awkward. The television was on the size of the bed, instead of facing it, which can get a little uncomfortable when two people are trying to watch it at the same time. But other than that, no real complaints.

Nice place to stay
Nice and clean, excellent staff. Good Value, will stay there again in the future.
Gotta’ go to Slow’s BBQ on Michigan Ave. Great, simple, tasty food. You may have to wait a bit to be seated but well worth it.

Hotel Review
Very nice hotel. Very comfortable, and the option to enjoy the buffet is an added treat. I would certainly recommend this hotel again.

I have to admit I was some what neverious about staying at his hotel. But after I got there and checked in my room. I was impressed.

Unclean pool
Our room was OK., however, the pool was extremely dirty. Found hairs floating, Yuk. Advised management and they said pool had been cleaned that day---untrue.

Had more problems that expected.
The toilet valve leaked water, which you could here at night. The room walls apparantly need more noice proofing or insulation, since we could here everything from the neighboring room (TV, talking, cell phines ringing, etc.). We had several questions for the front desk (directions to restaurants, etc.) but they always seemed to busy to give anything other than short and blunt answers.

Nice Place
I enjoyed the stay at Courtyad Mariott in Southfield. Nice place to stay and recommend it to anyone traveling in that area. It is conveniently located in a good area. Rooms were comfortable and indoor pool and jacuzzi are a plus.

Solid, I will stay there again when I return
Everything was as promissed with the exception of wireless internet connection. My room had high speed available through a router/modem in the room which was better than nothing. All services were fine. I was also there during parking lot maintenance but it was done so as to keep flow through the lot. thanks
