Worst hotel in 18 years of road warrior travel
Where to start! In addition to shredded curtains and the cockroaches, some of the lights didnt work; the lamp on the desk was broken. The carpet was stained in a number of areas and the carpet, which formed the baseboards on the bottom of the walls was pulled away and hanging off the wall in the area of the desk, revealing unfinished wall and stains. The bed linens were pilled and very thin and should have been retired from service some time ago. The TV remote was held together with some kind of electrical-like black tape. Also, I found the staff to be terribly non-concerned about anything, including customer service. I went down to the bar to get a glass of wine which I intended to take to my room. The bartender told me I could only take the wine to my room if he poured it in a styrofoam cup, as people were stealing their wine glasses. I did take my wineglass to my room - it was in no danger of being removed from the premises. When I was asked how my stay was, I told the young woman at the front desk what I had experienced. She apologized in a very half-hearted way, did nothing about it and simply said "oh, we had the exterminator in a few days ago, but he may have missed that room". The exterminator cannot be held accountable for all that was wrong with this hotel! Since this disasterous stay, Expedia has addressed my concerns with the hotel management and steps have been taken to make amends to me for which I am grateful.

Comfortable but internet service needs help
I was upset with the hotels internet service. Having access to the internet was a critical component of this trip. I could not get on in my room despite the staffs efforts to restart their systems or do whatever they were doing. I did get on in the lobby, but it was so slow it was unusable.
