Central heating...
To our dissapointment we could not turn on the heating in our room. There is central heating that is opperating 3-4 hours a day (at least in November). It’s a pitty because, otherwise it is a very nice and comfortable hotel.

Great location
The de ville was recommended by a friend and seemed like a find. this was a nice experience in florence. the breakfast helped make the room a good value. we enjoyed the happy hour as a break in the tourist activities. the location can’t be beat, central to all the shopping and the duomo is only a few blocks away. the only downside is that they need to upgrade their mattresses, they were hard. would stay here again though and would recommend to friends.
