Could be better.
Hotel does not have a ramp in the lobby to pull your bags onto, only stairs. Closet was very dusty. Wall sockets came off as I pulled off my phone charger / laptop plug. Wired internet requires a fee. There is no wireless internet. Air conditioning was weak; placed it on max and I woke up sweating. On the other hand, hotel personnel were of great help. There is a gift shop open late. Location is very good. Overall cant recommend it due to the comfort level of the rooms being low in my opinion.

Fairly Good
The hotel location is ideal for visitors to Ottawa Downtown.Walking to attractions such as Parliament Hill,River Ottawa,Sparks Street etc. is just minutes away.
Walk to Byward Market area for dining.

Friendly Hotel
All staff extremely amenable. We were there on a weekend, so it was easy to park on the street nearby if you want to save on parking. Walking distance to many visitor destinations. Many restaurants in area closed on weekends, so limited nearby food service on weekends. Probably a lot of government/business customers during week. Nice pool. Good value all in all.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
If you like to walk, great location. Don’t need the car at all. Walk to War Museum, Parliament, Art Museum and the Market area.
