Always surprised
I seem never to actively choose Omni Hotels but i should start to do so. Groups and Meetings have taken me to Omni and I am always very pleased with the quality of the rooms and the hotels in general. They are now on my list.
Traveler's tip
This hotel is very very hard to find if you are driving....if you do not have a GPS get specific directions.

Great Omni stay
The location of the Omni is exceptional as well as its service -- it is at the end of the newly established "mall" which is the closed-to-traffic Main Street -- great choice of dining and entertainment there. A mile+ to UVA, and the same to John Paul Jones Arena.

Beautiful hotel - great location
The only problem with my room was that the air conditioner didn’t work. When I called the Front Desk to ask for repairs, they said the technician had been there earlier and thought it was fixed. So obviously they knew there was a problem and it wasn’t checked thoroughly before putting the room back in service. But they were very nice and placed me immediately in another room. I will definitely stay in the Omni Charlottesville again.
