Great hotel for the traveller on a budget; right in the city center
A very modest hotel near the middle of Porto. The rooms are small - but then again it is europe. The front desk is very helpful with most requests. If you are looking to visit Porto and are on a budget this is a great hotel to visit.

very nice and good location
conveniently located next to a wonderful restaurant and nice cozy bar. Staff was great.

The restaurant next door was so good we ate there twice. It’s called Galeria do Paris

Cheap and ok
This is not a 3 star hotel, but an ok place to stay. It is very central, and every weekend the street outside of the hotel entrance is overcrowded. The neighbour bar is very popular and the beers are very cheap, only 1,5 euro for 0,5 litres. But like most places in Portugal, they play music from the 80’s and there’s no new music. Porto is a small and charming city with a great tram network, absolutely worth a visit.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Take a boat trip. 1 hour on the sea will give you a nice overview of Porto. After the boat trip, visit one of Porto’s famous vine cellars. You will also taste their vines. This boat trip and the visit to the vine cellar are sold as a package for 10 euros almost everywhere in Porto.
