The personal beach was beautiful. But in the five days and nights that we stayed at this location, we saw a staff member only once! The electricity went out about five times (which I hear is common for this island), and the water went out around four times as well.

Would go again.
This is a nice set of villas right on a quiet beach, very quiet and peacful, yet just across the street from a marina where you can keep your boat. The small kitchen enalbled us to make simple meals; tihs added a lot to the convenience of the stay and to save some money on dining. This is a great place for a family wth kids. Nice swimming on a small beach only steps away, with a reef for snorkelling about 150 yards away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They are usually only present during the day. At night the office is closed.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
If you rent a boat, ask if you can leave it at the Jib Room Marina. Bring a calling card, I was not able to make long distance calls with my credit card from the room.
