Great hotel in Savannah!!
The hotel room was chic, comfortable and clean and the staff was very accommodating/friendly. The bar staff was very friendly as well Additionally, the location was great - 1 block from River St as well as the historic district happenings during Halloween when we visited. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. My only complaint was that from booking the hotel room in Expedia I was not careful to note that the room only had a standing shower as opposed to a bath/shower combo. An upgrade would have cost additional money.

Best Hotel in Savannah
The Avia Savannah was a perfect hotel for our stay. It was within walking distance of everything, the staff bent over backwards to assist us with every little need/want and it was very comfortable and peaceful. The hotel breakfast buffet was great (book the night before and get a 25% discount). Paula Deans was just around the corner and although I am not usually a fan, I have to say the food was great. Skip the Pirate House which was way over-rated and the food was terrible. The hop on, hop off trolley was a great way to get around especially with kids. Cant say enough about this great hotel!

Absolutely Fantastic and Romantic
Our recent stay at Avia Hotel over our Anniversary was fantastic! Everyone was so kind to us and couldnt do enough for us. Our room was very well appointed and exceeded all my expectations. The hotel even gave us 2 complimentary beverages to use in the wine ktichen downstairs. The atmosphere was a gorgeous, romantic setting to enjoy each others company. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
Lady & Sons by Paula Deen is a must for dinning in Savannah!
