Very Hip
I will definitely stay at NYLO again when in the area. One of the best hotel experiences I have had!
Spring and Summer are the best times to do almost anything on Narragansett Bay and to stroll around Newport and East Greenwich.

Trendy, Modern Hotel, in a weird location
My wife and I are from RI and stayed at the hotel when we came home for a wedding in Cranston, RI. We stayed at NYLO as it appeared to be the nicest hotel within a reasonable driving distance. The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms were trendy and spacious. We liked our room and found it to be better than a motel/chain hotel that costs the same price! However, we stayed on the same side of the hotel as the night club and even though we were on the fifth floor of the hotel, we could clearly hear music from the nightclub late into Friday and Saturday night. One complaint is parking. The hotel has a parking lot across the street that is self-serve parking during the day, but valet at night. Problem is, the valet is ONLY AVAILABLE AT NIGHT! Because the restaurant and club in the hotel stays open late (on the weekends) you get stuck with your car parked at the end of the lot and when you need your car/check out you the next day, you have walk to your car. There is no bellhop/valet service during the day. In addition, the hotel is located behind the Warwick Mall. Anyone familiar with this area knows the traffic is awful during certain times of the day and there is no "scenery" when you look out your windows; just another abandon mill. Overall, if you are traveling to Warwick/Southern Rhode Island this hotel is worth the price.
The hotel has a great travel package, providing free shuttle pick at TF Green airport and the shuttle will bring hotel guests to surrounding areas (within a 5-10 mile radius). The hotel is close to many amenities, restaurants, movies, two big malls, making this free shuttle really convenient when traveling on business.

Not impressed
Very cold hotel and very dark. the only thing that was good about this hotel was the bed. Open bathrooms make it very uncomfortable for a two party room . Would never stay there again. the rooms are set up for one person only with no dresser for cloths and no privacy in the restrooms because the shower is open at the top.
