More than adequate
The rooms are small, but the hotel has a great location, is family-run and very friendly, and has a nice breakfast buffet. For our one night there, it was perfect.

An A+
We stayed at The Bell Hotel for six nights had a wonderfully comfortable experience and stay. From the reviews we had read in advance we knew to call ahead to arrange for one of the larger rooms and to ask to stay on the west side of the building which offers a beautiful view of the sea. The location of the hotel is really terrific (just off the beach) and is in walking distance to many attractions in Tel Aviv. The staff at the Bell was very accommodating, breakfast was delicious every morning (great mini pancakes!) and the beds in the room were very comfortable. Bring your own toiletries, but you can shop for anything at a small grocer right down the street (on Allenby). If you have a car it is helpful to note that the Bell offers FREE parking in the tower directly across the street. This is a big bonus as most fancier hotels charge for parking! There is a fridge, air conditioning (which worked well and we readily used) and a flat screen TV in every room but we hardly ever turned that on. Also, they have very reasonable rates when using the phones in the room to dial internationally. Its not the Ritz but as far as B class hotels go the Bell is an A+ in my book! Thank you Bell!
Traveler's tip on shopping
From the Bell you can reach many shopping sights in Tel Aviv by foot. Enjoy the twenty-five minute walk along the boardwalk down to Old Yafo to shop on Mazal Dagim (art galleries & shops) or ten minutes to Nachalat Benyamin and the Tel Aviv Market. Please note that the artists who set up on Nachalat Benyamin are only there on Tuesdays and Fridays so plan appropriately!

Do not stay here unless you cant find anything else in this price rnage
The picture does not represent the true condition of this property, as is in poor condition relative to this picture. Business cannot be conducted in the room due to the size of the very tiny desk. The bathroom shower handle was broken, so no place to hang it for a shower. Street noise can be heard all night. Long stairs walk-up with your luggage - no elevator. Lobby on 2nd floor. The breakfast (included) was superb though and the wireless internet worked without problems.
