Nice B&B away from downtown
I found the hotel to be nice and clean, and the staff were very helpful in explaining local dining options and arranging for local bus tours. The hotel is in a residential neighborhood alongside numerous other B&Bs. There is a bar/restaurant about a 5-10 minute walk, and McDonalds is about 15 minutes away. The hotel took me about 45 minutes to walk to from downtown Galway, but there are one or more bus lines running near the hotel. Their hotel guide said that a taxi to downtown would be about 10 euros. The hotels breakfast was very good as well. The room was clean. The only drawback I found was that in the middle of the night, I could hear other people in their rooms when it was quiet.
