We chose well
Friendly managers and staff. Nice and quiet location. Just far enough out of town - 20 minute walk. The hotel and grounds are well maintained. Tour guide in the hotel everday at 8am for an hour. She gave great recommendations. Hotel restaurant food and service is very good. You can exchange your key for a pass and take a 5 min walk down to the resort below for free use of activities. TV reception was poor even though cable - apart from the sports channel. Who wants to watch TV when there’s a lovely view from your deck. Much better to sit on the deck with a glass of vino and read. The room has glasses plates etc but take your own corkscrew! We did.
Traveler's tip on shopping
Don’t buy anything on a day when a cruise ship is in port. The locals put the prices up.
