Excellent Jerusalem Boutique
We searched on Expedia for the best boutique hotel in Jerusalem, and we feel we found it. Room was small in size, but very well designed, with excellent bathroom, ample light and view. Breakfast buffet and its setting excellent, outdoor deck (with two-person swings) a pleasure. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Neighborhood charming and convenient. We found really good, memorable restaurants nearby: Zuni, just across the street, justifiably popular with travelers and locals, and YMCAs dining terrace, a pleasant walk away, ideal for al fresco lunch or dinner.
On our brief visit, we focused on main sights: Western Wall, Temple Mount, Israel Museum, Yad Vashem -- all world-class destinations.

Funky hotel, great location
Just up Hillel Street from the more expensive hotels and less than 10m walk from the Jaffa gate, this funky boutique hotel is a great option for exploring the old city. Located on a pedestrian mall, there are lots of shops and restaurants around, including a great Italian one in the lobby. Breakfast and happy hour are a nice treat before and after long days. The lack of in room irons is a little odd, and lower floors may have more street noise-5th floor room had no noise issues.
