Beautiful Hotel but Beware of Additional Expenses
This is a lovely hotel , but beware of ordering anything as far as food (breakfast buffet is $40; a diet Coke was $5). Also Internet very expensive.

WILL STAY THERE AGAIN!!!!!
We had great service from the staff, and the view from our room was spectacular. We could see inside the Louvre from our room!
Everything was in short distance from the metro, and all of the attractions were close by.

A Wonderful Hotel in Paris
The Hotel du Louve has got to be one the best located hotels in all of PARIS. It is across the street from the Louve. In fact we could see inside the museum wing from our room window. The majorty of the museums are within walking distance of the hotel as well as Notre Dame. With the exception of the people who cleaned the room all spoke fluent English. The Metro is less than a half a block from the hotels entrance. The concierges were extremely helpful in finding good reasonable places to eat. The only negative I could find with the hotel is one of the elavators. There are two elavators in the hotel one a modern elavator in the right wing .The elavator in the left wing is a beautiful glass box from the early 20th century that runs on a hugh weight and pullys. Ufortuately you can hear the elavator at night if someone is using it. We were so tired at the end of our day it rarely bothered us. This is a four star hotel and it deserves every one of them!
