Nice but Worn

The hotel was just a few miles from Ft. Jackson, which was our reason for staying there. It was easy to get to using South Carolina highways, and was directly off of an exit. There wasn’t much else there, a gas station, McDonald’s, etc. The hotel was well worn but clean enough and comfy enough. We really only needed it as a place to rest at night while we were in Columbia for a few days, and it served its purpose well for the super low price we paid.

Won’t ever go back even if they paid me to do so.

The toilet in my room was leaking and took them 2 nights to give me another room. They didn’t even give me the room I paid for to start with and when they moved me to another room it was the same as the first. The service was horrible, the clerks barely knew english and were very rude. My mother in law also stayed at that hotel and had similar problems as I did. I would recommend you choose a different hotel in the area.

Traveler's tip

Fort Jackson has a water park and mini golf and is a wonderful place to visit and I would enjoy going again.

Fine for a night

If you’re looking for somewhere to stay for a night while traveling this is a good place to go. The room smelled like smoke even though it was a "non-smoking" room. However, it was clean and comfortable enough, also pretty good selection of cable channels compared to some hotels. Breakfast room and food selection was a little sub par, my cereal was pretty stale.
