we will never go back!
We wanted the Hilton next to the train station! This was miles to the train station and we paid more than 50 euro back and forth. Even the tram/streetcar was about a mile from the hotel. Cab driver didn’t even recognize the address. We were totally disgusted with the location.

Don’t go to this hotel if you have business in Milan because you are far fr the downtown corridor.

First rate accommodations. Would definitely go back.
I found the Doubletree Hilton Milan to be an excellent property with modern, clean rooms, excellent showers, TV, etc. The desk staff was very friendly, helpful, and polite. My purpose was not to be in the center of Milan which could be a problem for those who do, as taxi service or a local tram would be required. There are very few stores or restaurants in the immediate area. For anyone with a car, it is perfect as there is convenient free parking. I will definitely plan to stay at the Doubletree again.
