Wonderful Experience

Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Good service. Good restaurant.
An excellent choice for the money. Convenient, good service, friendly staff. They do charge alot for parking and internet. These are the only drawbacks.

Personal attention from staff was comforting
The concierge and wait staff/bar tender were great and all helped to make experience a great one. As a woman traveling alone, I was concerned for my safety, Bell hop and other staff made sure my car was available and helped me make arrangements for getting back to hotel safely. Staff on beach were attentive and made sure I was comfortable. Definitely returning!

Right on a beautiful beach.
Nice hotel right on the beach. Not much close by. A car is a must but the charge for parking is high.

Wonderful time
This was the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel and both times it was great. The only difference I saw this time was the pool side service was slower this time. Even though there was a lot of construction as a guest you didn’t really notice it. The spa was a wonderful experience and very enjoyable. Overall a great weekend.

Great vacation hotel
The hotel was constructing a new pool restaurant so they had servers come around and take orders at the pool and then delivered the food. Staff was very accomodating. We had a late flight home so they allowed us to stay an extra hour and then held our luggage while we were at the beach and pool. We would definitely return on vacation. The private beach was beautiful !!!

On the beach beauty
This hotel is truly beautiful. The rooms are nice. First our room did not have a balcony so I called the front desk and desk and they changed our room. I was so happy I did that. I enjoyed my morning coffee sitting outside. Everying you buy at the hotel is very expensive. A drink on the beach is $13.69 including tip (which they and on ). Breakfast buffet @21 per person. Self parking $23 per day. Since we rented a car we drove to other places to eat. In the evening you can walk (3/4 mile) to the strip and have dinner at Bubba Gumps and The Oasis Cafe where you sit on a glide swing while you eat. The best part of my stay was being on the beach, having a chair, and not having to cross a busy street to get there. We hated not having a refrigerater in our room. Oh yeah, no one told us until the last day that you can buy this cool refillable cup at the pool for $10 and get all the soda free in it your whole stay- boy that would of saved us.

If you love the beach........
Very nice resort. Clean and well kept. The staff is awesome from the front desk to the drink service at your chair on the beach. Very nice private beach with everythhing you need right there! The beach, grounds and pool area are very well kept. The area has a tropical look and feel. I cant wait to go back.
Bring snacks and drinks, the in room mini bar is a little pricey.

Great Hotel for our Little Vacation
My family had a great time. My husband and I took our 2 and 4 year old so you can imagine how much time we had to spend in the hotel room. The in-room service staff was great!! They would bring us cookies and milk for the children when we would order room service. The room was clean and they brought us whatever we needed. Highly recommend this hotel

Can’t beat this beautiful and rare exception to Ft Lauderdale.....a top notch hotel right on the sand!! For those of you know Ft Lauderdale, you know that all the hotels are across the street from the beach and this is one of the few RIGHT ON THE SAND!! Love it!!

Good Customer Service
Me and my fiance arrived at the hotel only to find out that the health club and gym facilities were under construction including the suana. I was very dissappointed but after speaking with the hotel manager who upgraded our room and sent a bottle of champagne we were satisfied that their was effort made to make us comfortable.

A Great Hotel...
A great place to stay if you like the beach. I would never stay anywhere else in the area. It is centrally located. The room was clean and bright. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beach was great. An A+ in my book.

best private fort lauderdale beach
very pleasant stay. the layout of pool is too tight, however...not very inviting...poolside snackbar/restaurant subpar.

do not eat at the hotel if you can.it’s good quality but way overpriced. take intercoastal boat tour from downtown site...nice break in the hot day away from beach. don’t forget to check out South Beach in Miami

Second Year we were there.
Second year in a row. Right on the beach (unlike most Hotels in the area). Great for kids. Hope to make three years in a row next year!

Patio(Back of hotel)
In the evening more lighting is needed in the back of the hotel because its too dark. Having the hotel on the beach is great. Beach was beautiful and so is the pool I would definitely go back.

marriott resort and spa
it was the perfect getaway. private beach, poolside, spa, close to airport. every member of the staff politely smiles and says hello if they come into contact with you. room was nice, view was nice. room service was fast. was able to check in 2 hours early. would definitely come back again. very relaxing and enjoyable. stress-free.

i’m a walker, so i did not mind...but if you want to venture to shopping or nightlife etc, you’ll have to drive or catch a taxi.

Beautiful resort and spa on Fort Lauderdale beachfront. The spa was magnificent and the private beach very beautiful.

Beware of the parking charges
The Marriott Harbor Beach is a great place to stay - the Beach and hotel were beautiful. The only issue I had was the parking. You have to park in their lot for a charge of 22 dollars a night. I found this out when I got there. It was probably in fine print somewhere on their website, but I did not catch it. So if you are driving there, figure the extra cost to park. It adds up.

Amazing honeymoon!!!!!!!!
We stayed Monday to Saturday two weeks ago. There is some construction going on at this hotel, but it is not a bother at all. The hotel is AMAZING!!!!!!! The beach is beautiful... The pool is so relaxing. Everyone staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back to relax and recharge. The frozen drinks by the pool were great!!! The Riva Salad and the quesadilla at the Riva Restaurant were awesome. Dinner at 3030 Ocean was exciting and fun, it was very upscale.

Unfortunately once you leave the resort, the two malls we went to were very empty of stores. The Beach Place down the road on A1A was nice, but deserted. The Riverfront shoppes was also very nice, but many stores have closed. Hopefully the area will make a comeback with the economy. There are still many GREAT restaurants to choose from. We ate at the Quarterdeck and the Oasis Cafe. The wings were AWESOME both places. We had a great time!!

Great Stay, as always!
I have stayed here on business trips, this time, going back for vacation. Has to be one of the best around, if not THE best. I highly recommend.
