luxury
everything about this hotel is luxurious. the resort is awesome. service is great. the views are spectacular. however, if you want to experience the real costa rica, the nearest town is a $40 ride 45 minutes away. all the activities purchasable from the hotel are marked up to reflect u.s. wealth and not costa rican value. I would recommend staying here if sightseeing and adventure are not your main purpose but relaxation and pampering are.

Year old hotel
Brand new hotel...great views and service...however it’s in the middle of no where and Taxi rides are expensive!! And good luck finding your way around if your renting a car! :) Def a place to go if your in the mood to do NOTHING and just relax...mission accomplished.

Go to the near by town of Tamarindo...food, gifts, and other attractions are cheaper than the hotel.

A Great Hotel
The JW Marriott Guanacaste Resort and Spa was a fantastic hotel. Easily one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff was extremely nice and attentive to our every need. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. It was a fantastic experience.
