Very Near the Subway
This hotel was extremely close to the nearest subway station, which was excellent, but the neighborhood it is in could be better. It is close to the Bird’s Nest stadium, but it is somewhat harder to find by taxi. Make sure that you have the address written down in Chinese. The rooms were quite nice, and the beds were very comfortable. It was a good value overall.

Not the best - Not the worst
It is definitly not the best hotel and not the best Holiday Inn Express. You are 5-10minutes from the subway Line No 10 exit BEITUCHEN. The entrance of hotel is in the back so it’s a little tricky the 1st time because if you don’t know and you walk all around the block to access. The location is ok but it’s not downtown. Actually you are very close to the Olympics Stadium 10-15min by walk. Wifi is working pretty good in the room and you also have a business center. Nice staff but took long for checking. You can exchange CNY at the hotel, they offer same rate as at the bank but you can only change $100 per day per room and sometimes they don’t have cash to exchange. Breakfast is not great at all. But you have a pretty good bakery next to Mc Donalds. For a fancy dinner go to Pangu the large building in front of the Olympic Cube. They have a fancy restaurant with a upscale buffet (fresh lobster, fois gras, steak, sushi,... for equivalence of $50)
