Not horrible
The room was a smoking room but it was stinkier than I had hoped. The bed was uncomfortable and the building is a little run down but all in all not a horrible place to stay. For 10 to 20 bucks a night more you could stay at Salvatores up the road though.

Very nice, would stay there again.
Very nice facility. Good location. Only negative was when I asked the clerk if there was an Econolodge in my next city. I expected someone to be helpful and offer assistance in getting a place. At the very least offer a booklet with descriptions. I was told that I could call the phone number pasted on the counter for information. Could have offered help in calling. Could have given me at least a card with the number on it. The system assumes that the guest has a cell phone to use and that just any facility would do. Not very helpful nor encouraging to stay at an Econolodge. Re breakfast, the juice was watered down, but everything else was great...especially the waffle maker (my next Econolodge didn’t have one). In fact the next facility, in Harrisburg, Penna was very disappointing. Attitude of attendant (just needs some people skills) brought down the rating. Otherwise a nice place I would consider again.

It was the basic room that I wanted and was affordable.

Not the Ritz, but better than many bargain motels.

You must eat at Salvatore’s Italian Garden nearby. Take the money you saved on a hotel and enjoy.
