AMAZING HOTEL THE VERY BEST!
I was a bit worried about all the great reviews that Aydinli Cave had thinking nothing could be that good but it really is!! Mustafa and his family are just amazing! It felt truly like a home and not a hotel (or B&B). I would tell ANYONE to stay at the Aydinli house. It is so beautiful and you cant beat the service. I would suggest having Mustafa book tours, balloon ride or anything else you need. He is so honest and his prices were cheaper than the actual tour operators. I just wish we had more time with him and his family! I forgot to book a turkish bath before hand but his wonderful son- Clem was able to do it for us- no problems at all! They even called us when our pick up was ready for our balloon trip so we wouldnt have to wait in the office lobby as they thought we would be more comfortable in our room. Just amazing 5 star service! The breakfast is fantastic! Over looking the town and some great homemade food!

What a great hotel!
We booked this hotel blindly, not knowing what we would get...what a pleasant surprise! It was only listed as a 3-star hotel, but I would not have known that by the service, rooms, and staff--easily better than most 4-star places I have stayed at in the region! The breakfast was superb, the rooms were gigantic, and the bathrooms were modern and very large. We stayed in a fairly new room, but our colleagues stayed in a room that was carved into a 1000 year old cave! The owners did everything they could to make us feel like part of their family--even giving us permission to raid the refrigerator in the middle of the night, if hungry. The location of the hotel was right in the middle of everything, which makes dining choices plentiful, however that was also the one drawback of the hotel...there are about 3 mosques within 300 meters, so the "calls to prayer" at 0415 and 0530 were tough to sleep through--but that is what Efes is for, right?!?! I would definitely stay at this hotel in the future if I ever go back to Goreme!!
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
30cl bottles of Efes are anywhere from 4-7 Lira in the bars/restaurants. In the convenience stores on the street, they are 2,50 Lira for the 50cl bottles.
