Nice location, tired ,dated hotel.
Foghorn was probably built in the 50’s and hasn’t been updated. Kind of small dark rooms, tiny bathroom. The only great thing was the view of the harbor and beach. My husband thought it definately wasn’t worth what we paid for our room.

great hotel but don’t expect lots of info from daytime staff
good location - walking distance to Venice Pier -evening staff was great but some day time staff didn’t seem to know much about getting information for travellers - she suggested asking bus driver on next bus at corner for information - didn’t offer to check website for info or travel routes. Thank goodness there was computer access in lobby to do our own research!But if you know where you are going and how to get there, it was perfect place to stay!

Paradise in the Marina
Fabulous hotel. Staff was excellent. Front clerk offered great travel insights of places to see, where to eat at reasonable costs and ways around that aweful LA traffic. Free continental breakfast which was perfect. If I ever go again to Calif .... This is where I am staying.
