Good budget place
This is a conveniently located hotel right off Arlington Blvd. Just a good quality, no-frill, clean place to stay. Checkout is supposed to be at eleven, but I requested a noon checkout and it was no problem. I really appreciated the extra time.
Navigating the DC freeway system can be daunting if you’re not familiar with it. Mapquest isn’t always the best. It pays to have a good map and get some directions from a local.

Arlington VA for Marathon
The hotel was decent for the price; however this was the 34th year of this event which draws 100,000 plus into the area and tehhotel was ill-eqipped to handle questions, provide the advertised shuttle and seemed understaffed overall. They did decide to provide extra shuttle runs (at the last minutes) to accomodate guest needs, so they were responsive. In a pinch I would stay there again, but I woudl not seek it out.

Great for the value
We chose this hotel when we missed our plane from Washington DC and had to stay one day longer than planned. It was convenient because it was close enough to the National Mall and the airport and it’s within our budget. The hotel provides an hourly shuttle service to Rosslyn metro station which is really convenient if you want to go to the National Mall and other places along the metro trails. We took the taxi to the airport. If there is any weakness, I would say that the room is pretty small and it doesn’t come with a fridge.

There is a chinese take out place accross from the hotel. Quite convenient for affordable dinner.
