Hotel was did not meet advertised standards
Our stay at this hotel began pleasant. The young lady at the desk, her name was Stephaine-I believe, was very helpful and spoke a little english. The other front desk assistants we ran into after that day were not helpful at all. I would give them low marks in this area. The rooms were set up as advertised. However, (1) The A/C could not be turned on even though the A/C units existed in thr rooms - believe me I asked. Fans also were not provided. Given it reached approx. 85 degrees F during the day, the rooms could heat up and it would take many hours to cool down at night.(2) The pool was in-doors and only accessible whenever the staff was available. The staff left every day (even on weekends) at 8pm. (3) internet was available for a pricy fee and only wireless. I had my own cable to connect in the lounge, but was unable to because they would not allow me on their network. On the good side, the kitchen has a few pans and utensils in order to prep a meal. We were able to get two family’s of four poeple into one apartment for dinner.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Visit the Chillon castle a short drive away. Also eat in the town square there are nice Kiosks to eat from and, if you dine in the apartment, a super market to shop in.
