Excellent long or short-term stay
Pleasant, helpful, English-speaking staff. Not in city center, but very close to tram, only 5 min ride from downtown, on direct line to train station. Nice room and bathroom, not big but not too small, kept clean. Very comfortable stay, and I’m a picky traveler. Convenient mini kitchen in room.
Visit the Tourist Information Office downtown and take the organized winery tour. We went on the day tour and visited 3 wineries. The guide was very informative, providing us with loads of history and facts. The tours of the wineries were comprehensive and well worth the cost.
