Great alternative to the chain hotels
This bed & breakfast is in a charming early 1900’s house; rooms are upstairs with spacious privacy. The hostess is a charming lady who serves up wonderfully delicious three course breakfast meals while sharing stories of her family (who owned the house) and her life. She is a gem.
Traveler's tip on dining
Just a block down the street is a most excellent restaurant called "The Emporium" --- in a small house (with both inside and outside dining) on a corner, it hides the fact that the food is phenomenal. Very likely the best food in town.
