Quiet garden spot except for the parrots
We shared a room with our best friends on a trip to the wine area around Plymouth. We spent the evenings playing cards on the patio with a view of the garden listening to the pair of parrots say hi to everyone. But they go to sleep early so we could enjoy this quiet and lovely spot. The room was spacious, clean and the Lodi wine area tasting on site along with the demonstration plot of grape types was enjoyable. The restaurant is a bit uneven for the price but our waiter made up for a few flaws with a free dessert and coffee. We don’t usually spend this much for a hotel but it was worth it.

Convenient for travel to Shenandoah Valley wineries and on the way to Yosemite but best for couples.

Will go back
When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted warmly by the front desk attendant and then proceeded straight to a complimentary wine tasting featuring great Lodi wines, perfect way to start your stay! Loved the room, beautiful view of a small waterfall out our window, unique interior design. Grounds around the hotel are well kept and beautiful. Restaurant is so-so for the $30 entrees but nice decor and patio. I’d go in to town for less expensive fare and probably find better food.
