Warmed by the Italian Sun
My husband and I recently returned from a wonderful week in SanRemo. The Royal Hotel was fantastic. The service, room, location (although the stairs can be a bit challenging), and food were enough to make us want to return. I would highly recommend this lovely hotel to all. In fact I miss it already.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The restaurant Alex 76, located along the side steps of the Casino is fantatic. Quality ingredients at a reasonable price. Dont miss the outdoor market on Saturday but arrive early. It gets crazy and hectic but you can find some beautiful leather goods. But there is no negotiation, the price is what the price is.

Great stop-over at Italian Riviera
In over all, I wouldnt say San Remo is the nicest place along Italian Riviera - but it makes a great stop-over if you are travelling the region before you reach the French part of it. There is no paralleling 5-star resort hotels at the area (From Menton to Genova). Great spaced rooms, generously-spread breakfast including a freshly-squeeze juice bar, luxe spa and big swimming pool.
