Preferred hotel when staying in Tokyo.

This hotel is conveniently located near Tokyo midtown. No matter if your visit is for business or pleasure, I do recommend this hotel. The rooms are decent size for Tokyo and have all comforts you would expect from a hotel in this class.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

To get to the hotel when arriving via Narita airport, take the Limousine Bus which can be booked at the counter located in the Arrival Lobby. This the most cost effective way to get to the hotel.

PERFECT STAY IN ROOPANGI

My fiance and I just got back from Tokyo and immediately felt the need to give a great review to this hotel. You have to upgrade to the Club Intercontinental room and once you do this you will have access to the best drink during happy hour, best continetal breakfast, and also the best service. We had a beautiful room with an awesome view and access to the Garden Pool which was great! We recommend this hotel to everyone.

Nice Location, In great shape

This hotel’s front entrance is 200 feet from a good subway entrance. 4 different lines cross near this hotel. 7-11 right out the front door. Made it easy to get cash out of a machine, and get a red bull.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

If you are going to be moving on a lot of subway trains in a day, get the one day unlimited pass. Cost like $7.50, and you could criss-cross the city all day. Very nice.

A welcoming retreat

Recently remodeled, the hotel was stylish, clean, and comfortable. The rooms were, of course, Japanese in size but beautiful and far from claustrophobic. We upgraded to a Club Intercontinental room which included lounge access and a bunch of other worthy perks. The bathroom was tastefully designed and had a spacious shower as well as a separate tub with a small TV. The toilet was the standard fun multi-functional Toto gadget. The only areas pertaining to minor criticism were the insufficient storage space in the room and the lack of wireless internet throughout the hotel (including the executive lounge). The hotel’s location is convenient -- close to the Tameike Sanno Station, a 15 minute walk from Roppongi, and within walking distance from Tokyo Midtown. I would definitely stay there again.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Nearby town of Kamakura, and especially the Hasedera Temple, are worth a visit. The Tokyo National Museum is another interesting destination presenting an abundance of Japan- and Asia-specific exhibits that are bound to surprise and charm the first-time visitor. If you are staying at ANA Intercontinental, do ask the concierge for tips and ideas.

Great Japanese Service Hotel

Great Location and pleasant service.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

There is a store in the lobby where you can buy water and other soft drinks which are much cheaper than the minibar.

Loved It

I highly recommend staying at the ANA. The hotel staff was friendly and amazingly efficient. The city views were breathtaking from the Manhattan Lounge. The dining exquisite (several restaurants covering a variety of tastes). Its close to everything and a very safe area (as was all of Tokyo). Its location provides walking distance to the Imperial Palace and Roppongi Hills. It was an excellent hub for my ten-day vacation in Tokyo.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Recommend the Mt. Fuji Hakone tour provided by Japan Gray Line. Very in depth tour. Learned so much! Also try to go to the Sumo tournaments. Its a sport/culture event without comparison. Buy Frommers Tokyo guide before you go and enjoy the adventure. The Japanese people and culture are wonderful!

Start Tokyo Off Right

Ive been wanting to go to Japan since I was a child and when I was able to go I wanted to be in a nice hotel. When you walk in to this beautiful place there are nice looking waterfalls and beautiful lighting. Checking in was easy and they all knew english very well so there were no communication problems. The Breakfast Buffett was wonderful and Room Service was great. I only have one minute complaint and that is the room is a little to small for me, but I am a tall guy so it might have just been me. I also have some advice for you: if you do not have alot of cash (yen) on you, you should go to another district to eat because the hotel is very expensive, and noone in the Akasaka district takes Credit Cards around the hotel. But other than that we had a blast and that hotel just made Tokyo start off as a dream come true. I will definately stay there again.

Fairly impressed

This was my second trip to Tokyo. The last hotel I had stayed at made my trip worth while. ANA was far superior. The services that the hotel will provide are unbelievable. I requested an iron from housekeeping and literally had it delivered within 2 minutes. The room service waiters were supreme and so were all the other staff members. For the service alone, I will never stay anywhere else.

Traveler's tip on recreational activities

We were in Tokyo visiting relatives. They rented us bikes to cruise around downtown Tokyo. I highly recommend this. You get an entirely different perspective then if you were walking or taking a tour bus. Also, you will be surprised at how much ground you can cover on a bicycle with completely flat streets.

A very good choice

The hotel lived up to my expections after viewing online. The staff was very helpful and most spoke english. The location was great as it was within a block of multiple subway lines. The airport bus stopped at the hotel and we were able to purchase our return trip tickets to the airport at checkout.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

The subway was a great way to get around the city with connections for out of town day trips.
