Good value in a good location.
I spent just one night at the hotel but found that its location was good for sightseeing. It’s fairly central and close to the water. Check-in was easy and I was impressed with the workers at reception. They were friendly, knowledgeable and were a pleasure to speak with. My room was in good condition, it was nicely furnished and perfect for one person. The balcony was a nice surprise however I am not a smoker and would have loved to have a coffee or beer... I found the hotel restaurant (as are most) to be somewhat overpriced and decided to eat in the surrounding area.

Friendly & Helpful Staff
We never have been to Lisbon so picked a hotel based on reviews. Luckily, the Vincci lived up to the reviews we read and the stay was wonderful. Upon arriving, we were greeted by the most welcoming hotel staff I’ve ever experienced and they were also very helpful in terms of directions to sites. Very clean hotel but the room was small and narrow. Having said that, there’s really no need to stay in the room as you should be out exploring the city of Lisbon.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Go to the tourist center at the airport or at the Praca Comercio where you buy a Lisbon Card which will get you discounts throughout the city.

My favorite hotel chain
The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They were able to store a small kayak for me in their downstairs closet. This was fortunate as the elevator was too small to accomodate it. They also helped me with parking and made some good recommendations for dinner. The hotel has an arrangement with a parking garage about 4 blocks away. The room itself, as you can tell from the brochures is very modern, and exceedingly well designed. The light system is controllable to different settings, and has reading lamps for the bed. The shower is spacious, and has good power. The room has a clean design in that things are hidden in flush mounted cabinets. It’s very well put together. The mini-bar is completely hidden. I didn’t even know I had one, until I checked out and was asked if I’d had anything. The second time I stayed here, my room had an elegant balcony that overlooked downtown. I don’t think for the price and the location, that this can be beat.
Traveler's tip
Ensure you travel to Sintra (45 mins from Lisbon) and look around this town. It has two palaces, a castle, modern art museum, and the Quinta da Regaleira gardens. You could spend several days here alone.
