Welcome to Your Worst Nightmare

While entering the inn you would think it was absolutely gorgeous however when you got to your room you think you were literally in heaven until your key doesn’t work so your literally stuck outside, stuck in the elevator or stuck outside of your room... Problem #1: Literally I got stuck outside for four hours until they called security and made me feel as though I was a trespasser afterwards they realized I was a guest. Problem #2: Since the clocks changed back by an hour when i stayed in this hotel I would think they updated there information into the computers. That night I had asked for a 7:45 am wake up call instead what I received was horrific. My wake up call started at 3:45 am and went off as follows 3:45 am, 4:45am, 5:45 am, 6:45 am, 7:45 am. This was catastrophic in which I now had no sleep that night... Problem #3: I had stayed one night at this inn yet got charged with multiple transactions for a one night stay explain to me how I paid for the room from expedia yet get charge twice more at the hotel so literally for one night I received a bill for three nights???? Hotel Staff: They were rude, uncaring, cold hearted people especially management. In which knew nothing of how to run a hotel nor hospitality at all. I believe that they should definitely go down the street and ask Johnson and Wales on how to have some etiquette lessons.

Do not stay at this hotel its the worst.

A real find!

Given the moderate price, the service in the hotel is superlative. The staff is more than attentative, the free breakfast more than adequate, free coffee/tea all day in a well-appointed lounge, the business and fitness rooms amply stocked and the free shuttle more like a taxi around town than simply an airport shuttle. First time at Hampton Inn and I’d recommend it unreservedly. Any glitches are minor and were promptly and courterously resolved.

Great location for RISD and Brown campuses

Very clean, comfortable, attractive rooms, plenty of thick towels, WiFi. I had trouble connecting to WiFi, and the free telephone help was wonderful. Perfect location for some good restaurants, nearby RISD and Brown, and train station. Breakfast was pretty basic, and the plastic utensils were disappointing -- but the afternoon cookies were delicious!
