S. Cristovao de Lafoes Monastery was founded in the 12th cent, and rebuilt in its present form in the ends of XVII cent. Today the Mosteiro is a Rural Tourism (since 2004) . Has a small bar, outdoor swimming pool, internet, room games and private parking. Is located near Oliveira de Frades(5,5km) with easy access to the motorway A25. The Monastery is built on a small promontory overlooking the river. Dining: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. Recreation: Pool with sun beds.
