A place to remember!
Residence Kristinelund is a gem!! If I go back to Oslo, I will stay there again. Not only was everything clean and exactly as described on their website, but also all of the employees were extremely friendly! It is more of a bed & breakfast, and it has a very relaxed feel. Tea and waffles are available all the time. The only problem is that the reception is only open until 1:30 pm, but by then you’ll be out exploring the city! The internet worked perfectly, the complimentary buffet was more than sufficient, and in spite of the location being a bit further from the center of Oslo than I’d originally thought, I was highly satisfied with my experience. I recommend Residence Kristinelund to anyone who wants that home-style feel in a hotel.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
There is no refrigerator to store your own food. If you don’t want to eat out at a restaurant every night, I would suggest using the window as a cooling unit (placing the food between the two parts of the window worked very well), as long as it’s not summer!
