What a Union
The hotel staff was fantastic. The location, though not immediately surrounded by many restaurants and bars, is a great locale to get to most other points of the city. Th BART and transportation are several blocks away. Additionally, the staff was helpful at all times, answered all questions, and assisted with specifics of travel (to various points of the city and the 49ers shuttle bus). On top of it all, they do a free wine tasting every night for an hour for all guests. I now have a hotel to go back to when I travel to San Francisco.
Make sure you’re back at the hotel for a pre-or-post-dinner cocktail. The wine tasting was a pleasant surprise that sealed the deal for me.

Galleria Park Hotel in October
We were initiallly placed in an interior room that was tiny (1 Queen, as requested). We inquired about moving to an outside room, and were given an upgrade to a slightly larger room with an outside window and King bed. It was a nice surprise. The decor was nice, and though all the rooms were on the small side, it was expected for downtown SF. We had some trouble with the radiator the first night, but it was quickly remedied once we called the front desk. No problems after that. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We’d love to stay here again.

Modern Feel and Comfortable style
The rooms were small but it was in a great location. Friendly staff and comfy beds.
