Excellent Hotel
We enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield Inn in Strusburg so much that we searched for another Fairfield Inn as we continued our travels the following day.

Wonderful!
Great hotel, very clean, and the staff is attentive. I didn’t care for the fact that not all rooms have a mini fridge. I would like to keep some drinks cold or have some dessert for later. This normally wouldn’t be an issue, but Strasburg is a little off from the two larger towns near it. Come on, Fairfield Inn, there was plenty of space in the beautiful room for one. I would totally give the hotel 5’s down the board if this were remedied. The hotel’s Website lists Half Moon Beach, but unfortunately, that is closed for good. It does have a small, indoor pool on ground level though.
Traveler's tip on dining
There’s a great Italian restaurant next door, but for even more choices visit Front Royal, the next town over (about 10 minutes away).

Clean and comfortable
We stayed here the night before heading out to the mountains for hiking. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We slept in too late and missed breakfast, but it smelled good. We had requested a roll away for our son, but when we arrived, they said they don’t have any. The hotel is next to a great brick oven pizzeria, with HUGE portions. And there’s a Denny’s and Chinese Restaurant next door too. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet.
