Oldest Embassy Suites I have stayed at!
This Embassy Suites was definitely not on par with the rest of the Embassy Suites I have stayed in before. The building is historic, but definitely could use some upgrading. Upon arriving at my room at around 5 PM, I noticed the room next to me had a pile of dirty dishes next to it from room service. I figured they had just put those dishes out. The next day when I went to check out at 10 AM, the same dishes were still there! The location of the hotel was convenient for where I needed to go, but the hotel definitely was not up to the usual Embassy Suites standards.

Will use Embassy Again
I love Embassy Suites! I had heard great things about the hotel chain prior to my recent vacation, and after staying in one of their hotels, it is easy for me to say they lived up to every expectation. I would easilly stay there again. Rooms are large. (Obviously they are a suite!) A 2 double-bed suite can easilly accomodate six people. (2 per bed, including the fold out couch). Bathrooms were clean and updated. Beds were very comfy. Noise was not a problem at all. (Room was located on the top floor, about 5 rooms down from the elevators.) Staff is excellent. From front desk, to cleaning crew...you are treated with excellent customer service. Cleaning crew left extra towels and pillows for our larger party. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. BREAKFAST! Embassy offers a free breakfast that is delicious! From made-to-order omelets, bacon, sausage, pancakes, french toast, pasties, and more, the FREE breakfast is a great way to start your morning.

My ’place’ in Denver.
Except for initial confusion on the part of the desk clerk, reception was quick, which was nice as it was late at night. The room was very quiet and spotless, had all the amenities I needed - iron, etc. The food at the full breakfast was excellent; it was nice to have oatmeal and fresh fruit and good tea.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The placement is great for business travelers as there is easy access to I-25 and downtown, and the tech centers are close. There are nice grocery stores nearby, and travel for sight seeing in and outside of Denver is easy as long as the desk folks are familiar with the Denver area and can give instructions.
