The haven heaven!
Overall am v v happy with the hotel - so much so that I was sad to leave when I was checking out. Perfect location, lovely bar (NOT the restaurants though!), and super comfy bed. A special mention of the receptionist Jad - he was the best hotel staff whom I’ve ever come across.

A great design hotel, perfectly located
Very much enjoyed my stay in Haven during my trip to Finland. The hotel is brand new, rooms are beautifully furnished (even if the B&O TV is a bit excessive), the location is as good as you’ll get in Helsinki. Breakfast was great as well, although the breakfast room was a bit cramped. Only real downside was the unavailability of a late check-out on a Sunday morning. In any case, yet another worthy alternative for design minded people.

Above and beyond 5 stars
Everything about Hotel Haven was outstanding. There is literally nothing negative that I can say about the facilities, the staff or my stay. At every turn, the staff went above and beyond required expectations. They assisted in all areas, including booking taxis and recommending attractions and local specialties. The icing on the cake was when my fiancee and I stepped out into the rain the first morning, and one of the receptionists chased after us to give us an umbrella to use for the day, courtesy of the hotel. The facilities were also extremely impressive. The bathroom included a flat screen TV next to the tub and heated floors. The bed was phenomenal- I literally didn’t want to get up in the morning. And there was free wi-fi included, something not offered at other similarly priced hotels. The breakfast was top notch as well. Included in the room price, it boasted a full traditional Finnish buffet with staff assisting at every turn. I would recommend the Hotel Haven to any traveler or tourist in the Helsinki area. In an outstanding location right next to the famed esplanadi, and a short ten minute walk to the railway and bus stations, it definitely goes above and beyond the normal expectations of a quality 5 star hotel.
