Nice Hotel, boring location
Big luxury Hotel but too far away from the main Dubai attractions.

Fun for family and couples , but ...
Hotel is fun as long as you aim to enjoy the water park and scenery at the palm. When it comes to value and food and room quality this descends into a 4 star hotel as the room size is ordinary and the food is very ordinary for the expensive price. Staff is freindly but you get the feeling there is no institutional control and the service level is not 5 star plus quality. Kids enjoyed waterpark which is the highlight of the stay as the waterpark is well staffed and well maintained .

Overrated and Over priced
This is the most over priced hotel I have ever stayed in. The property is a $15 cab ride from anything else, so you are basically forced to stay on the property and do everything there. The food is the biggest disgrace I have ever been forced to consume in a "5 star" hotel. I would rather eat at Burger King. And the prices were out of control. The meal was half the price of the room, and the rooms aren’t cheap. Don’t get me wrong, the property is beautiful. So, if you’re going to Dubai to look out into the ocean for several days and do nothing but swim at the pool of your hotel, this is the place for you. But it is a $25-$40 cab ride back to the city, if you’re the type who wants to see something more interesting than the other euros at your hotel. The room itself even looked nice. But, the bed was hard. Personally, I’m not a fan of hard beds, but my traveling partner loved it. Also, the shower in our room was broken and they could not fix it immediately, so we were forced to shower in the lounge downstairs for guests staying after check out. Overall, I would never ever ever stay in this hotel again. It is not even close to worth the money. In fact, even if they cut the price in thirds I wouldn’t stay in this hotel.
