great hotel in Helena
The only downside was the night front desk clerk didn’t know how to tell me how to get my voicemail messages from my in room phone. I needed that for an appointment the next day, but it did finally get resolved. Better training for the night time clerks.

quiet and comfortable
The hotel is getting older so no glitz but the room was comfortable,clean and o.k. and we used the pools a lot. Could have stayed at newer, cheaper places but felt safe here and really enjoyed the outdoor and indoor pools.Since I live in the same town, I used it as an extra bedroom.

Very pretty hotel, could use a little tune up.
The physical appearance of the hotel is very nice, clean and maintained. The desk workers looked pretty scary, but nice. There was no coffee available in lobby (just an airpot of some "good" coffee would have been nice) and coffee in room was poor quality. No continental breakfast was provided nor any discounts for hotel restaurant.

Just about everything is in walking distance, lovely area. Hotel ammenities are great...oh, except smokey lounge...arrggh.
